This is one of the biggest malls in Nellore. And its currently the
biggest and the only Mall which is currently open and completely
function in Nellore. Its built by MG brothers. Daily thousands of people
from all over the district visit here. There are many outlets of popular
brands such as Dominos, Pizzahut, McDonalds, PUMA, CreamStone, Reliance
trends, MAX clothing, WROGN etc. Along with this there are five theatres
along with various food courts and gaming. Its a overall fun Places
blended with everything for fun. Even there are various rides specially
for kids. A must visit place
Rain Square Mall
This gonna be the biggest mall once it starts functioning. Currently
only the movie theatres are functinal. Its built with great
infrastructure with lot more brand outlets. Food court outlets are also
open now, which is a fun place to hangout for movies and food currently.
It has 5 movie theatres with great interiors. Its around 2-3 kms from
APSRTC bus-stand and adjacent to KIMS hospital.
Mallikarjuna Kamakshi Temple Jonnawada
Its one of the oldest and largest temples in Nellore district. Its very
famous in the region. Many people come especially for staying here for a
night which is part of ritual when one's husaband dies. Its very sacred
to the people around here. Its around 13kms from Nellore city. One can
easily take auto/cab from Nellore. In the inner sanctum Lord
Mallikarjuna is seen. Beside that shrine Goddess Kamakshi is seen in
standing posture with a goad (ankusha) and a noose (pasha) in the upper
pair of hands and showing Abhaya and Varada Mudras with her lower pair
of hands. Adi Shankaracharya statue can also be seen here.
Nellapattu Sanctuary
Its a great sanctuary with an around 459 hectares. Around 189 different
species can be found here. hese migratory birds include common teal,
shoveler, Spot-bill duck, grey heron, black-winged stilt, and garganey
gadwall etc. In 1997 GOI declared it as a sanctuary. Thousands of people
visit here during a speacial season. Even there will be helicopter rides
during that time as a tourist attraction provided by Tourism department.
